How to avail Land Bank Cash Card


A recent advisory from Pag-Ibig fund that to avail of multipurpose loan (MPL), members must first apply for the Land Bank Cash Card. It is where they will put your loan amount instead of bank check.

Land Bank Cash Card is a debit card that has:
no opening deposit, maintaining balance and dormancy period
no Philippine Deposit Insurance (PDIC) cover and account interest
no Specimen Signature Card (SSC) requirement

To apply, you need the following:
2 valid IDs and its photocopy (company, PhilHealth, SSS/GSIS, TIN, voter's, and postal IDs)
2 Filled-up cash card enrolment forms, you may also download it here.
Letter of introduction from Pag-Ibig
Payment of P100 for the card

Procedures:

>Go to your designated Land Bank branch as advised by Pag-Ibig.
>Present your IDs and its photocopy, filled-up forms, including the letter of introduction to the assigned personnel for the Pag-Ibig-Land Bank Cash Card enrollment.
>Pay the P100 for the payment of the card to the cashier. A stamp will be put on your enrolment form.
>Upon completion of your requirements, you will receive the PIN code and the cash card. You may check and change your PIN at the branch ATM.

I've got my cash card yesterday. It was a hassle-free experience for me. Kudos!


UPDATE:

According to my colleague who was about to apply a cashcard, she was told that Pag-Ibig loan and the card must be applied at the same time.
